Since graduating from UCC in 2008, Eoin has worked as a technician at the Granary and the Cork Opera House and as a freelance lighting designer. Recent Designs include The Irish Canon Abridged (Half Moon Theatre), Hollander (Hammergrin/Cork Midsummer Festival – nominated for an Irish Times Theatre Award for Best Production), Lipstick and Spitting Love (Roundhouse- Granary Theatre) Spirit of Sign (Cork Deaf Association- Cork Arts Theatre) Laundry and Bourbon and Lonestar (Cyclone- Half Moon Theatre). He has previously designed Nightswimming (Clinic Media- Cork Arts Theatre), K: The Iowa Project (Hammergrin- Cork Midsummer Festival) Thailand: What’s Love Got To Do With It? (Meridian- National Tour) Suicide Notes (Cyclone- Stack Theatre) The Country and Howie the Rookie (New Director’s Festival- Granary Theatre) and Arcadia, Heartshaped Vinyl and Much Ado About Nothing for UCC Dramat as well as No Exit for which he won the 2007 Irish Student Drama Award for Lighting.
