Jack graduated from UCC in 2007 with a BMUS, specialising in performance and composition. During his studies, he was a member of The National Youth Orchestra of Ireland while closing the Jazz Festival (2001) with The Fiona Kennedy Big Band. Jack also writes, plays and sings with Cork folk rock band, Front Porch, which frequent the public houses from Shandon to Barrack Street. When not teaching music to the ‘youth of today’ in Pobal Scoil na Trionoide, Youghal, he has been approached to compose music for some of Cork’s most exciting theatre productions – working with Annette Buckley for Playgroup’s Dark Week as part of the Cork Midsummer Festival 2005, providing the piano score for Dramat’s production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (2006), which travelled to ISDA. Jack’s own songs can be heard at
